Welcome to Sunchaser CRM ("the App"), a utility application developed for and utilized by Sunchaser Energy Systems. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data we collect. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data collected from users of the Sunchaser CRM mobile application, which connects directly to the Sunchaser customer relationship management (CRM) backend.
By downloading, installing, or using this App, you consent to the data collection and use practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect and process the following types of information in order to provide system calculators, lead progression, and proposal generation workflows:
- User Credentials: Usernames and administrative passwords to authenticate system clearance and access custom workspace roles.
- Lead & Customer Data: Client names, telephone numbers, emails, and physical installation addresses required for coordinating operations.
- Technical Solar Specifications: Information entered to run sizing recommendations, including monthly bills, electrical unit consumption, service panel load metrics, roof space, and shading analysis.
- Activity Logs: Timestamps, user roles, and changes made within the system (e.g. status changes, inventories delegated, or quotation records updated) for audit logging.
- Device Location: Approximate or precise location is collected only when you intentionally use a feature that requires a site location, such as confirming a delivery challan or recording field-work at an installation site. It is used to record and verify the location associated with that service or project record. Sunchaser CRM does not track your location continuously and does not collect location in the background. Your device will ask for permission the first time such a feature is used, and you may decline or revoke it in your device settings.
- Camera: The camera is used only when you choose to capture an image — for example photographing an installation, a delivery, or a support issue from within a job record. Sunchaser CRM does not access the camera in the background and does not record audio or video continuously.
- Photo Library & Files: When you choose to attach an existing photo or document to a quotation, delivery, warranty, or support record, the file you select is uploaded to Sunchaser. Only the files you pick are accessed — the app does not read your photo library or device storage otherwise.
How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used solely to facilitate business processes inside Sunchaser Energy Systems:
- To verify identity and grant role-appropriate portal access.
- To perform solar sizing recommendations and generate structured pricing proposals.
- To track installation progress and schedule site surveys.
- To maintain secure system activity audit logs to prevent unauthorized access.
- To coordinate warranty filings and support ticket lifecycles.
Third-Party Integration & Service Providers
The App connects to external sub-processors and cloud systems to execute its logic. We only share the minimal required data with third-parties in a secure manner:
Data Security & Encryption
We take data security very seriously. All network transmissions are strictly encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols. Access to endpoints is secured via JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and the Supabase backend utilizes row-level security (RLS) policies to prevent unauthorized data exposure.
Data Retention & Deletion Rights
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill Sunchaser operational requirements.
Under Google Play policies and global data regulations, users have the right to request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of their personal data. To request data deletion, please contact us at support@sunchaserenergy.co. We will process compliant requests within 30 days.
